Hitachi’s annual event in Japan was first brought to Southeast Asia - Singapore - in November 2014 as the company celebrated its 50th anniversary in Singapore. Following its success, the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum (HSIF) has since made its way to Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

In the previous forums held in Bangkok, Hitachi was honored by the esteemed presence of several distinguished guests, including Dr. Pansak Siriruchatapong (Vice Minister for Digital Economy and Society, Government of Thailand), Dr. Kanit Sangsubhan (Secretary General, Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand and Representative of Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand) and Dr. Chen Namchaisiri (Former Chairman, Federation of Thai Industries).

The HSIF continues to reflect our commitment in contributing to Southeast Asia’s growth by addressing the region’s challenges through Hitachi’s various solutions that will be showcased.
