The growing demand for higher bandwidth in accelerated time frames is driven by hyper-scale cloud networks and Service Providers. The imminent availability of 5G and Edge computing with higher bandwidth devices, IoT data, new models for video consumption and ongoing Cyber-security challenges raises the expectation of intelligent network services. Customer requirements rarely call for an entirely new network architecture.
