Fujitsu has significantly boosted the performance of RAIDEN (Riken AIp Deep learning ENvironment)(1), a computer system for artificial intelligence research it had originally deployed in 2017 to the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP Center), the AI research arm of RIKEN. The system upgrade by Fujitsu was based on an order received from RIKEN, and now RIKEN AIP Center is putting it into operation from April 2018.
