In June 2017, Huawei commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate the adoption trends of IoT across the globe. Forrester conducted an online survey of 203 telecom organizations in China, Japan, Korea, and Europe to explore this topic. They found that an IoT software platform with comprehensive capabilities is critical for telco carriers and service providers to accelerate digital transformation.
