Vertiv, formerly Emerson Network Power, today announced it has signed two new Australian partners; Queensland-based electrical services provider HazElec and Sydney-based IT infrastructure provider Powerfirm.

At the core of both new partnerships is a drive to take a leading role in the growing number of smart city initiatives taking place across enterprises and government organisations in Australia. Research from KPMG Australia last year among government, universities and industry spokespersons showed that 80 per cent of organisations had already begun their smart city journeys by 2017.
